Sidewall conveyor belts combine a standard EP base belt with vulcanized corrugated rubber side walls and transverse cleats, creating individual compartments that physically contain material at any inclination angle — including vertical. This eliminates the inclination limitations of standard flat belts, which cannot exceed 18-22° for most bulk materials.
