Steel cord (ST) conveyor belts replace the fabric carcass of EP belts with a layer of individually galvanised high-tensile steel cords. This provides dramatically lower elongation, higher tensile strength, and longer service life compared to fabric belts. Essential for overland conveyors over 1,500m and any application where elongation control is critical.
